Never having used a pallet knife in painting before I had a crack at it on the trees and rather liked the result. I am a bit of a sucker for texture so went for it on the large foreground. Actually, I was trying to create a semi abstract but it has ended up with more representational look than I intended. I am not entirely unsatisfied with the result mind you. I think it works.

A little tribute for my younger brother who tragically died during lockdown here in NZ.  He used to be a jazz/blues drummer and loved his music.  He was a gentle soul and a deep thinker.
