9x12 Acrylic on canvas panel.  "Early Morning Run'  Not much to say on this one. I am still working on simplifying the shapes and composition. In painting less is actually more.

'Getting ready to sail' 9x12 in. acrylic on canvas.

At a recent paint out session I began the above painting struggling with high wind gusts that threatened to take my easel and toss it into the sea. Paint tubes and coffee mug were being whisked away by the wind as well. Finally my centre of interest ( the sailing dinghy) was gone onto the water as well. (I guess thats what they came for, not to pose for me). I had no option but to take a couple of quick photos and complete the painting at home. Happy days.
